Data Science and AI Manager Job Summary

At Pfizer, we're committed to transforming data into actionable intelligence. We're seeking a skilled Data Science and AI Manager to lead our Commercial Analytics and AI efforts. This role will deliver data-derived insights and AI-powered analytics tools to drive commercial strategies and tactics.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced analytical models and predictive algorithms to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data science insights and drive business decisions.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and guide them on interpreting results.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and effectively communicate the value proposition of data science.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in a related field, preferably in engineering, economics, statistics, or computer science.
  • Advanced degree preferred with 0-2 years of experience in applied econometrics, statistics, data mining, machine learning, or related fields.
  • Experience with data science models, big data stacks, and visualization techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores, Hadoop, Snowflake, or Databricks.
  • Knowledge of machine learning technologies, including Python, R, and Scala.
  • Understanding of brand content, strategy, and tactics.
  • Able to effectively utilize dashboards and data products to derive insights.
  • Experience in managing secondary data and applying real-world data.
