Lead Design Position for NPIP Projects

Manitou Equipment India has an opening for a Lead Design position in Aerial Work platform Business.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the design of Hydraulic Architecture and integration of machine hydraulics with electrical control software.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing hydraulic aggregates, selecting machine hydraulics components, and ensuring compliance with global market requirements.
  • Key responsibilities include hydraulic ram selection, buckling calculation, motor torque calculation, and good understanding of machine speed calculation and correlation with flow.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hydraulic close-loop systems, hydrostatic drives, and 3D design layouting.
  • They will also be involved in prototype machine built, analysis, and resolution of machine concerns, as well as involvement in cooling trials of engine and hydraulics system.
  • Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for preparation of SOR, sign-off documentation, and technical reviews with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills are essential for coordination with cross-functional teams for implementation of design changes on product.
  • A strong background in problem-solving techniques like 8D, Fishbone diagrams, and Pareto charts is required for hydraulics-related problems.

Educational & Experience & Other Qualification:

B.Tech/ M.Tech (Mechanical Engineer), Experience: 12-14 years
