Job Summary: Key responsibility revolves around setting up and maintaining Oracle CPQ for multiple business areas.

  • This role involves interfacing with Marketing, Product Management, sales, and corporate IS to determine the best product structure and data integrity solution. It also requires ongoing support and maintenance to align with the product lifecycle and new product development.
  • This role will be responsible for supporting Product Managers and their requirements to execute product changes in all necessary computer systems and databases, ensuring the product is ready for production and sale.

Measures of Success:

  • Collaborate with Marketing Product Manager(s) and Engineering to understand lifecycle plans for new product introductions and obsolescence mitigation strategies.
  • Determine the best possible product configuration structure to leverage commonality and resolve complexity.
  • Define advanced functions within the Oracle CPQ tool.
  • Improve the Configuration user interface using HTML attributes, CSS, and mobile layouts.
  • Use advanced Commerce functionality and modification tools to extend the point-and-click interface.
  • Utilize BML in conjunction with Configuration and Commerce.
  • Translate technical issues, architecture, and concepts to a non-technical audience on a regular basis.
  • Create and maintain system technical documentation as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of implementation experience in Oracle CPQ (BigMachine) with a strong CRM background.
  • In-depth knowledge of Product Configuration & Rules, Commerce Process, Document Engine, and Pricing functionality of Oracle BigMachines CPQ Cloud.
  • Experience with customized Oracle BigMachines CPQ Cloud integration with CRM/ERP applications.
  • Proficiency in working with BML/BML Functions for complex use cases.
  • Experience with Bulk Data Upload/Migration Strategy from Legacy System to Oracle BigMachines CPQ Cloud.
  • Awareness of Mobile Configuration Layout and experience deploying Oracle BigMachines CPQ Cloud on Mobile platforms.
  • Experience in development and integrations with Oracle CPQ.
  • Expertise in JavaScript, JSON, SOAP, REST, middleware, and other programming languages.
  • Fluency in English and strong organizational and communication skills.
  • College graduate in a technical field preferably in computer science or engineering with 3 years of experience.
