Job Overview

A skilled Technical Writer is sought after to create comprehensive repair instructions, collaborating closely with technical teams and updating existing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Develop detailed, easy-to-follow repair work instructions for various products and equipment.
  • Work in conjunction with engineers, technicians, and domain experts to gather information and insights on repair processes.
  • Review and revise existing repair work instructions to reflect changes in products, processes, or safety standards.
  • Capture feedback from users to continually improve documentation quality.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in technical writing, specifically in developing repair work instructions or similar documentation.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in technical writing tools and software.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or technical support environment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to repair processes.
  • Knowledge of visual communication techniques, including diagrams and illustrations.
