Senior Verification Expert for Advanced Mixed-Signal Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Verification Expert to join our team at Renesas Electronics. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the development and verification of our cutting-edge mixed-signal chips.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced mixed-signal simulation infrastructure using SystemVerilog and Verilog-AMS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough product development, from specification to silicon debug.
- Create and verify self-tested test benches for Mixed Signal chips and sub-circuits, ensuring efficient simulation.
- Develop and implement advanced mixed-signal simulation techniques to enhance simulation speed and efficiency.
- Generate verification plans from specifications using vManager and determine coverage and design completeness requirements.
- Work closely with validation and design teams to generate schematics or text-based testbenches.
- Develop random-constraint tests to cover all customer-use models and create assertions, cover-groups, checkers, monitors, and automatic reporting.
- Set up and run regression reports, ensuring project goals are met and schedules are adhered to.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred) or equivalent, with at least 6 years of professional industry experience in AMS Verification engineering.
- Strong expertise in digital and mixed-signal verification, including Verilog-AMS and Verilog/SystemVerilog languages, modeling, and AMS simulators.
- Experience with UVM testbench creation, writing, and implementation is a plus.
- Proficiency in developing scripts (Shell, Perl, Python, etc.) and Cadence SKILL language is a plus.
- Familiarity with AMS behavioral top-level modeling and verification methodologies to speed up simulation, understanding accuracy/speed trade-offs, and interfaces.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team.
