The ideal person for this role will have the necessary experience, skills, and passion required for optimizing our entire tech architecture.

Our tech stack includes:

  • Over 120 high-traffic eCommerce websites
  • Business analytics for product selection, customer growth, and retention
  • ERP software for global operations
  • Software for crawling product listings at scale
  • Modules across functions, including marketing, logistics, customer support, finance, etc.
  • Workflow, dashboard, and reporting modules for all divisions

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Collaborate with front-end developers to establish objectives and design cohesive code for enhanced user experience.
  3. Develop new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry trends.
  4. Record data and report it to relevant parties.
  5. Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices and learn new programming languages.
  6. Take lead on projects as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer programming or a related field.
  • 10-14 years of experience with primary expertise in Ruby on Rails and familiarity with JavaScript front-end technologies.
  • Strong understanding of web development and programming techniques.
  • Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or with a group.
