Role Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Lead Product Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative machine learning solutions for our next-generation digital customer experience applications. Your expertise in deep learning, reinforcement learning, computer vision, and language processing will be instrumental in shaping the future of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with machine learning engineers and data scientists to develop and implement novel machine learning solutions.
  • Work closely with product management and design to define project scope, priorities, and timelines.
  • Take ownership of project technical roadmaps, including technical solution engineering, risk management, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable systems in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in data science, incorporating relevant innovations into our workflow.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field from a top-tier institution.
  • At least 3 years of experience in deep learning, with a proven track record of delivering technically complex projects.
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment technologies, such as Kubernetes or Docker containers.
  • Experience with large language models (GPT-3, Pathways, Google Bert, Transformer) and deep learning tools (TensorFlow, Torch).
  • Strong software engineering skills, including coding standards, code reviews, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in managing a team of high-caliber machine learning engineers and data scientists.
  • Experience with multi-modal ML, including generative AI.
  • Passion for AI and its potential impact on society.
