Product Director for Lending

This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the product management process end-to-end. The Product Director will lead a team in developing, launching, and optimizing lending products that meet market demands.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Product Strategy:
  • Create and implement a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for lending products.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and business landscape in the lending domain.
  • Collaborate with executive teams to set priorities and make informed decisions.
Product Development:
  • Oversee the entire lending product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams for alignment and successful product rollouts.
  • Manage product portfolios, making decisions on enhancements, releases, and sunsets.
  • Focus on quality from functional, technical, and usability perspectives.
Team Management:
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing product management team.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture, promoting growth and development.
  • Set goals, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback to team members.
Customer Focus:
  • Understand customer needs and pain points through direct interactions.
  • Ensure products deliver exceptional user experiences meeting customer expectations.
  • Lead solutioning workshops with customers and advocate for their interests.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Communicate product updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and act as a product evangelist.
Performance Tracking:
  • Evaluate product performance using key metrics and drive continuous improvement.
  • Use data analytics to inform product decisions and measure success.
Key Skills:
  1. Lending expertise across origination, servicing, and collection management areas.
  2. Understanding of multiple markets and regulatory requirements in different regions.
  3. Proven experience in developing lending products.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
