Job Role Overview

This position involves working as part of a team to contribute to the successful delivery of projects under the supervision of a senior or project engineer.

  • Key responsibilities include following document control and QA processes, ensuring drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence are issued and filed/archive appropriately.
  • The role also entails assisting in compiling design specifications within given deadlines, checking compliance with the project brief through calculation and cross-reference of manufacturers' literature.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for organizing and carrying out detailed design to industry standards, ensuring CDM, QA, and technical review and sign-off by the project leader.
  • Furthermore, undertaking technical calculations to industry standards in conjunction with team members, supervising their work to ensure delegated tasks are completed to deadlines and standards.
  • Preparing elemental work for project budget costing as delegated by the senior team member, within agreed deadlines and standards.
  • Handling day-to-day queries from the team, ensuring relevant information is available on time for construction activity.
