Automation Framework Developer Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Framework Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust Selenium automation frameworks for web applications.

This role involves collaborating closely with developers, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions through efficient test automation processes and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Selenium automation frameworks for web applications using Selenium WebDriver and related technologies.
  • Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python, ensuring compatibility across different environments.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines leveraging tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git, enhancing collaboration between cross-functional teams.
  • Develop data-driven, hybrid, or BDD frameworks using TestNG, Cucumber, or JUnit, promoting reusable code and efficient testing strategies.
  • Perform cross-browser testing and analyze test failures, generating detailed reports and maintaining test documentation.
  • Lead efforts in improving test automation processes and best practices, staying updated with the latest trends and tools in test automation and software quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing automation frameworks (BDD, data-driven, hybrid).
  • Experience with API automation testing tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Git.
  • Proficient with test management and reporting tools like TestNG, Allure, or Extent Reports.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
