Advanced Quality Assurance Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to oversee all aspects of quality assurance and ensure the highest standards of software quality.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, to define and implement quality strategies, testing processes, and automation frameworks that deliver reliable and scalable software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA methodologies, test planning, and building automation frameworks. Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks is highly desirable.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. They will be able to analyze defects and work with development teams to resolve issues efficiently, as well as collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize testing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversight of all aspects of quality assurance and ensuring the highest standards of software quality.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement quality strategies, testing processes, and automation frameworks.
• Developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Analyzing defects and working with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve testing methodologies.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior QA role.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in QA methodologies, test planning, and building automation frameworks.
• Automation Tools: Good to have Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Defect Tracking & Management: Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, and test management platforms like TestRail.
• Programming Skills: Strong scripting or programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• CI/CD Knowledge: Practical experience with CI/CD tools, e.g., Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD, to integrate testing into deployment pipelines.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail in software testing.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.

Onboarding Timeline:

New hires will undergo comprehensive training on solutions, gaining a deep understanding of the major products used. During this time, they will become familiar with the products' requirements, set up the testing environment, learn the team's processes and tools, and execute existing test suites.

After completing training, new hires will be assigned to a vertical within the team and start working with the Lead. They will focus on creating or updating test cases based on product requirements and acceptance criteria, emphasizing both functional and non-functional testing aspects.
