Job Title

A finance control consultant is a professional responsible for managing and maintaining the financial systems of an organization. Their role involves ensuring that all financial processes are running smoothly, efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and customize SAP FI/CO modules to meet the organization's specific needs.
  • Design and implement solutions to address industry-specific requirements.
  • Integrate SAP systems with other modules such as FI-MM, FI-SD and equipment rental.
  • Create and maintain FI master data and implement validations and substitutions for enhanced process control.
  • Use basic SAP ABAP knowledge for debugging, analysis and issue resolution.
  • Test and document complex system environments.
  • Facilitate end-to-end testing for Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Record-to-Report (R2R) cycles.
  • Log, analyze and resolve test defects in coordination with technical teams.
  • Conduct mock cutover and data validation activities to verify system readiness before go-live.
Requirements
  • Closely collaborate with Finance, Operations and Supply Chain teams to gather and translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
  • Map existing processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and implement automation opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, healthcare regulations and DME-specific reporting standards.
  • Provide user assistance, training and system adoption support.
  • Conduct requirement analysis, functional design, testing, implementation and post-go-live support.
  • Work within team-oriented, collaborative environments with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to challenge the status quo, drive process improvements and achieve organizational goals.
