Job Title: Transaction Risk Investigator

Job Overview

This role involves investigating online ecommerce risks and eliminating them through effective judgment and problem-solving skills. As a Transaction Risk Investigator, you will be part of a team that uses technology, analytics, and science to build trust with customers and partners.

About the Role

You will be responsible for researching and evaluating facts surrounding seller transactions, taking appropriate action based on established procedures, documenting your actions, and communicating with external and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and evaluate facts surrounding seller transactions.
  • Take appropriate action on investigated transactions based on established standard operation procedure and tools.
  • Document your actions by providing detailed annotations.
  • Communicate with external customers via phone or email during the investigation process.
  • Communicate with internal customers and peers in person, via email, annotations, and phone during and following the investigation process.

Requirements
  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • 0-1 years of work experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English language.
  • Ability to handle and interpret large sets of data.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team in a very dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the ecommerce payments space, previous trust and safety experience, and experience succeeding in a customer-driven workplace.
