Murex Upgrade Project Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Murex upgrade project manager to lead our team in delivering a high-profile program from an offshore location.

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in Murex implementation and project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end execution of the project, including initiation, planning, scheduling, execution, and completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing a team to deliver the Murex upgrade program.
  • End-to-end execution of the project, including initiation, planning, scheduling, execution, and completion.
  • Stakeholder communication, stakeholder management, and fostering strong relationships with clients, team members, and end-user stakeholders.
  • Identifying risks, issues, critical path activities, and tracking their mitigations, resolution, and coming up with solutions.
  • Providing status updates related to all stakeholders.
  • People management and resource management.
  • Project status tracking and setting up different levels of governance.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in Murex implementations.
  • At least 6+ years of experience in Murex project management and program management.
  • Strong understanding of Murex architecture and ability to comprehend end-to-end processes.
  • Subject matter expert in at least one Murex module (MxML & Back Office Workflows, Datamart Reporting, or Front Office).
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Offshore delivery management experience.
  • Team management experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience on handling at least one Murex upgrade project, project management tools exposure (Jira, etc.), and Scrum certification.
