Areas of Responsibility:A. Performance Delivery
  • Support, partner, and enable delivery on key performance indicators
  • Strengthen the finance process and build a mindset for continuous improvement
B. Productivity
  • Improve processes and reduce timelines for recording financial transactions
  • Participate in unlocking savings and ensuring hygiene by optimizing distributor returns
  • Reduce working capital and provisions unlock (norms to be lower than last three years average)
C. Net Revenue Management
  • Drive trade spend management and optimize pricing
  • Develop a pre and post-measurement culture on spends
  • Engage with cross-functional teams and drive business insights
  • Pricing optimization - volume, value, and margin market share pool
D. Business Partnering
  • Provide independent financial analysis and insights to influence decision-making
  • Partner with senior leaders to drive business performance and deliver financial targets
  • Bring commercial insight and judgment to decision-making
  • Optimize investments, including A&P measurement and evaluation
E. BAU Operations
  • Credit management - timely MIS circulation and credit block review
  • Collection management - driving collections and reducing overdues
  • Debtor estimates and forecast review to ensure no risk in accounts receivable
  • Timely month-end closing and sharing required reports
F. Compliance and Governance
  • Ensure compliance to policies and controls
  • Risks identified through reviews are tracked and ensured review with relevant stakeholders
