Director of Strategic Initiatives – Key Role

About the Position:

  • This role involves driving strategic initiatives for a global nonprofit organization that focuses on responsible AI governance and enterprise AI leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prioritize, plan, and implement complex projects across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  2. Build and maintain a 36-month phased roadmap to ensure timely execution and delivery of key initiatives.
  3. Mobilize cross-functional teams and vendors to achieve project goals and objectives.
  4. Cultivate partnerships with global policymakers, enterprise executives, event organizers, and sponsors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, strategic initiatives, or operations, preferably in AI, technology policy, or global nonprofits.
  • A proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar programs and complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • A strong understanding of AI, governance, and emerging technologies.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience working with corporate sponsors, government partners, or international organizations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
