Mobile Application Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our QA team as a Mobile Application Automation Test Engineer. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for both customer and driver apps on Android and iOS platforms.

  • The candidate will be responsible for implementing automated test scripts using Java-based frameworks such as Appium and TestNG/JUnit.
  • They will execute and manage automation tests across multiple applications simultaneously, ensuring end-to-end quality of our food delivery platform.
  • A strong understanding of API testing is required to validate backend services and data integrity.
  • Web automation testing expertise is also necessary for admin, restaurant, and partner portals.
  • The selected candidate will run automated tests on Sauce Labs or similar device farms and analyze detailed result reports.
  • Integration of automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI is also required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Java programming for test automation.
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Appium, intelliJ, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Mobile Testing on Android and iOS platforms.
  • Experience in API Testing using Postman and REST Assured.
  • Knowledge of Web Testing using Selenium/WebDriver.
  • Experience with Docker for scalable test execution.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based test environments like Sauce Labs, BrowserStack.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
