Job Title: Risk Management Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of evaluating and underwriting small to medium-sized enterprise insurance products, including fire, burglary, marine, engineering, liability, and miscellaneous policies.

  • Evaluate and underwrite SME insurance products with the aim of providing tailored solutions to clients based on their specific risk profiles.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to provide technical support in pitching and presenting insurance options to prospective and existing clients.
  • Develop customized insurance programs that cater to the unique needs of clients.
  • Utilize digital tools to prepare impactful proposals, comparisons, and presentations, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
  • Liaise with insurers to secure competitive quotes, terms, and underwriting approvals.
  • Maintain strict adherence to IRDAI guidelines and company processes throughout all underwriting activities.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, insurers, and industry stakeholders through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Support business expansion by developing knowledge-driven marketing strategies and delivering compelling technical presentations.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 36 years of experience in commercial lines/SME insurance underwriting.
  • Strong understanding of both external benefit and non-external benefit products.
  • Proficiency in insurance portals, quoting tools, and presentation software.
  • Exceptional communication and client engagement skills.
  • Able to distill complex insurance concepts into clear, actionable proposals for clients.
  • An extensive network within the insurance industry.
