Job Title: Network Engineer

Overview:

The company is looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network architecture to meet business requirements
  • Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
  • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
  • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
  • Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the companys security team
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree and Minimum of 3+ years of directly related experience including working knowledge in Technology Operations, and Incident/Major Incident or Problem Management
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate with staff who are not technically trained
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to feel comfortable working with different teams, clients and groups of staff across an organisation
  • Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload
  • Ready to work in rotational shifts in 24x7 operations
