Reddit Community Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to identify, engage, and convert potential clients through authentic presence and creative engagement strategies within Reddit communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and Identify Relevant Subreddits: Research and identify relevant subreddits where target clients are active, ensuring alignment with our brand values and community guidelines.
  • Build Authentic Presence: Build an authentic presence by contributing valuable posts, comments, and discussions that showcase expertise and thought leadership.
  • Hunt for Client Opportunities: Hunt for client opportunities by identifying pain points, questions, and demand signals within the subreddit, using data-driven insights to inform outreach strategies.
  • Execute Outreach Strategies: Execute outreach strategies while complying with Reddit rules, focusing on building genuine relationships and sparking meaningful conversations.
  • Track and Report Leads: Track and report leads generated through Reddit activities, providing regular updates to the sales/marketing team on progress and success metrics.
  • Collaborate with Sales/Marketing Team: Collaborate with the sales/marketing team to align messaging and ensure seamless handoffs between teams.
  • Monitor Subreddit Trends: Monitor subreddit trends, competitor activity, and engagement opportunities to stay ahead of the curve and inform future community engagement strategies.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience in Reddit Marketing: Proven experience with Reddit marketing, community management, or lead generation, with a strong understanding of Reddit culture, etiquette, and anti-spam rules.
  • Strong Written Communication Skills: Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone per subreddit, ensuring engaging and informative content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Experience in Client Hunting: Experience in client hunting, B2B/B2C lead generation, or social selling, with a focus on building genuine relationships and driving business growth.
  • Familiarity with Reddit Tools: Familiarity with tools for Reddit monitoring, scheduling, and analytics, with a desire to continuously improve community engagement strategies.
  • Self-Motivated and Results-Driven: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with a passion for delivering high-quality results and exceeding performance expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior Experience in Growth Role: Prior experience in a growth, business development, or community manager role, with a proven track record of driving business growth and expansion.
  • Knowledge of Content Marketing & Outreach Automation: Knowledge of content marketing & outreach automation, with experience in crafting engaging posts that spark discussions and drive meaningful conversations.

KPIs (Success Metrics)

  • Number of Qualified Leads: Number of qualified leads generated from Reddit, with a focus on quality over quantity.
  • Engagement Rate: Engagement rate on posts and comments, with a goal of increasing visibility and reach within targeted subreddits.
  • Growth of Brand Visibility: Growth of brand visibility within targeted subreddits, with a focus on establishing the brand as a thought leader in the industry.
  • Conversion Rate: Conversion rate from Reddit leads to clients, with a goal of driving business growth and revenue expansion.
