Job Title:

Achieve Excellence in Internal Control Management

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting independent reviews of internal controls, ensuring timely reporting to stakeholders and management, and implementing control processes and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough on-site internal control reviews and ensure effective implementation of control processes and corrective actions.
  • Undertake special projects to identify opportunities for process enhancement, standardization, and automation, focusing on strengthening internal controls while minimizing inefficiencies and inaccuracies.
  • Assess risk areas thoroughly and implement comprehensive and effective risk management strategies across all functional areas.
  • Coordinate completion of mandatory statutory/corporate/Asia reporting requirements.
  • Share best practices within the organization.
  • Support location management teams during operational and financial audits by assisting in preparation, liaising with auditors, responding to deficiencies, and closure.
  • Analyze and evaluate accounting documents to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant with more than 8 years of experience in internal audit/accounting audit/internal control roles, with at least 4 years in a Big 4 environment.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with cross-functional departments.
  • Ability to perform process audits and month-end close reviews independently.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Indian Accounting Standards.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • High adaptability and ability to work well with ambiguity.
  • Great attitude in high-pressure situations, with ability to negotiate and influence effective outcomes.
  • Strong work ethic and track record of taking on additional responsibility.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in QAD and Hyperion is highly preferred.
