Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned expert in data engineering and infrastructure to take charge of full lifecycle implementations — from secure platform setup and cloud integration to high-performance data pipeline development.

This role involves leading the setup of Snowflake platforms, environment provisioning, RBAC, and resource optimization. Additionally, you will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Pulumi (AWS, Azure, or GCP), building robust CI/CD pipelines, and integrating with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.

You will also develop ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, Airflow, or custom Python solutions, ingest and transform data from APIs, SaaS apps, and event streams, ensure data security, lineage tracking, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2), and partner closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Snowflake platform setup, environment provisioning, RBAC, and resource optimization
  • Architect scalable, secure infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Pulumi (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Build robust CI/CD pipelines and integrate with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
  • Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, Airflow, or custom Python solutions
  • Ingest and transform data from APIs, SaaS apps, and event streams
  • Ensure data security, lineage tracking, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2)
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or platform operations
  • 3+ years of deep Snowflake hands-on experience (performance, security, cost)
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, Terraform/YAML, and Git workflows
  • Proven CI/CD and DevOps knowledge
  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
