Senior Data Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced data engineer with hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing large-scale data pipelines and architectures in cloud environments.

This individual will serve as a Cloud Development expert, mentoring and guiding other data engineers as they enhance their cloud skillsets.

Data Engineering & Architecture Responsibilities
  • Data Product Development
    • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using various tools and technologies.
    • Develop and optimize ELT/ETL processes using modern data integration techniques.
    • Support and evolve data models that drive operational and analytical workloads.
  • Cloud Development & DevOps Expertise
    • Build, deploy, and manage cloud-native data solutions using AWS services.
    • Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code to ensure scalability and resilience.
    • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Partner with product managers, analysts, and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
    • Contribute to the data platform modernization roadmap and support new product delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering or equivalent technical role.
  • 5+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud Development & DevOps experience.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Deep experience with Oracle (PL/SQL, performance tuning, data extraction).
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (networking, security, cost optimization).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform or Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools.
  • Experience with modern orchestration frameworks.
  • Exposure to data cataloging, governance, and quality tools.
