Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive financial models for ongoing monitoring of high-yield loans for a Cyprus-based bank. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining strong fundamental and technical knowledge of corporate financial statement analysis, with a focus on European corporates.
  • Analyzing historical financial statements in Excel and extracting key insights.
  • Preparing detailed capital structure and debt amortization/maturity schedules, including pro forma adjustments for acquisitions.
  • Conducting thorough quality checks of work done by analysts and delivering high-quality outputs to clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong understanding of financial statement analysis, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
  • Experience with financial modeling tools and techniques, such as DCF, peer multiple, and liquidation-based recovery analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key trends and drivers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
