Job Overview

As a seasoned Power BI expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence reports, dashboards, and KPI applications. Your primary focus will be on creating robust data models, leveraging advanced DAX calculations, and implementing effective data security measures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop comprehensive Power BI reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Create complex data models using appropriate Power BI relationships to enable insightful report design.
  • Develop custom DAX formulas for advanced data manipulation and calculation.
  • Apply Power Query to extract, transform, and cleanse large datasets.
  • Manage integration with various data sources, including databases, cloud services, and APIs.
  • Utilize SQL for data extraction, joins, subqueries, and stored procedures.
  • Implement row-level and object-level security measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Connect data via gateways and XMLA endpoints for seamless data access.
  • Build optimized dashboards for large datasets, ensuring efficient performance.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5–6 years of experience in data analytics, client-service-related functions, or a similar field.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and working with large datasets.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Certifications in Power BI or Power Platform (desired).
