About the Role:
  • This position requires a skilled animator to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game designers, developers, and producers to develop and execute creative concepts for animations.
  • The ideal candidate will create engaging animations for slot game symbols, bonus rounds, and other game elements that captivate players and leave a lasting impression.
  • Strong artistic foundation, including drawing skills, is essential for this role, as well as proficiency in 2D animation software such as Spine, Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony.
  • Familiarity with traditional animation techniques like timing, spacing, and posing is also necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing storyboards and animatics to plan out the animation is an important part of your role.
  • Editing and compositing animations with other visual elements to ensure seamless integration is crucial.
  • Maintaining up-to-date skills and knowledge of industry trends and technology is vital to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Meeting project deadlines and working within production schedules requires strong organizational and time management skills.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in slot game animation is preferred.
  • Understanding of compositing and visual effects is essential for creating engaging animations.
  • A background in the gaming industry, with a portfolio showcasing slot game animations and graphics, is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are critical for success in this role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is a must.
  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in animation, art, or related field is preferred.
