Job Description:

We're on the lookout for a skilled Junior AI Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing cutting-edge Gen-AI applications and be well-versed in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, backend infrastructure, and real-world AI deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement RAG pipelines using vector databases and prompt engineering techniques.
  • Develop and maintain backend systems using Next.js (API routes) and FastAPI.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate AI services with React/Next.js applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI, particularly open-source LLMs, RAG stacks, LangChain/LlamaIndex, etc., and recommend improvements as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript programming languages.
  • Experience with FastAPI, Next.js API routes, and Docker.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, including LLMs, embeddings, vector stores (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate), and RAG workflows.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments and taking ownership of projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Languages: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Backend: FastAPI, Next.js API routes.
  • Frontend: React, Next.js.
  • AI/ML Concepts: LLMs, embeddings, vector stores, RAG workflows.
  • Tools & Libraries: LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs.
  • DevOps: Docker, GitHub Actions, cloud deployment (e.g., Vercel, AWS, GCP).
