API Developer Role

This exciting opportunity is open to individuals who possess a strong background in designing and developing REST APIs, Java Spring Boot, and data streaming services.

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the design and development of new and updated REST APIs and Kafka event services.
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business requirements and be able to translate them into effective API designs.
  • Key responsibilities include defining endpoints, data formats, and authentication methods while considering security, performance, and best practices.
  • Our team collaborates closely with various stakeholders, including IBM MDM AE product teams, MongoDB, and Kafka experts.
  • The selected individual will implement API design best practices and modern API design patterns, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
  • In addition to technical skills, we value excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, as well as experience working in Agile environments using JIRA and Confluence tools.

Required Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of REST API design principles and implementation using Java Spring Boot.
  • Experience with UML or BPMN workflow design.
  • Strong understanding of SOAP Web Services, XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL, and Postman.
  • Proficiency in working with Oracle, MongoDB, and SQL databases.
  • Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
