Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Paginator/Compositor to join our production team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for handling typesetting for books using Adobe InDesign (Mac/Windows), working on Adobe Acrobat, PDF technologies, and printer file creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle typesetting for books using Adobe InDesign (Mac/Windows)
  • Work on Adobe Acrobat, PDF technologies, and printer file creation
  • Interpret typesetting terminologies, proof markings, and specifications
  • Implement revision corrections, book compilation, and preflighting
  • Work with XML workflow and customer instructions

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Graduate with minimum 3 years of experience in pagination/typesetting
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, and PitStop
  • Understanding of proof markings and layout specifications
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
