Roku is changing how the world watches TV, and we're looking for a skilled Senior Front-End Developer to join our team. As a member of our Ads Customer Interfaces team, you'll be responsible for creating a best-in-class user experience for our advertising products.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test highly available and scalable web applications using the latest web technologies and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to build holistic solutions that meet business needs.
  • Contribute to every step of the product development process, from ideation to implementation and release.
  • Identify efficient methods and techniques to achieve optimal solutions.
  • Promote and demonstrate the principles of operational excellence in all tasks.
  • Employ unit, functional, and E2E automated testing to ensure high technical quality for the features you develop.

The Roku Ads Customer Interfaces team is a group of highly skilled technologists that builds innovative platform products and services. We connect users to the streaming content they love and enable content publishers to build and monetize large audiences.

About the Role

As a Senior Front-End Developer at Roku, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex full-stack web applications, develop sophisticated UI components, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's or Master's in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience building highly scalable front-end applications.
  • Expert-level proficiency with React.js, Node.js, npm, Typescript, and CSS.
  • Knowledge of latest web technologies and frameworks, including HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, GIT, and CI/CD.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
