Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineers are responsible for translating test cases into automation scripts using C# for GUI and API tests.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of web-based architecture, be proactive in working on both manual and automation testing, and have experience in testing web services, Rest APIs, and database systems.

  • Translate test cases to automation script using C# for GUI/API tests
  • Adhere to coding standard and guidelines defined for automation
  • Perform manual testing of web-based applications, web services in a client-server environment
  • Proactive in working for both manual and automation testing
  • Good understanding of web-based architecture and ability to debug any web or server error
  • Understanding of functional, database, sanity, end-to-end integration, and regression testing independently adhering to Scrum guidelines
  • Review code and fix any issue identified in scheduled automation runs
  • Perform root cause analysis of script failures/logged bugs
  • Submit and track automation identified defects
  • Escalate and follow-up in a timely manner about all blocking issues and SOP deviation
  • Very good knowledge in SDLC and STLC process

Technical Skills:

  • Solid knowledge in automation testing
  • Good experience in C#
  • Experience in testing web services, Rest APIs
  • Hands-on experience in service testing tools like Fiddler, SOAP UI, Postman, Protractor, and Playwright

Requirements:

  1. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and system testing life cycle (STLC)
  2. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  3. Effective communication and team collaboration skills
  4. Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and processes
  5. Strong analytical and debugging skills
