**Job Title:** Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.

  • Analyze product features and usage to provide inputs for estimation, schedules, and test strategy development
  • Define and automate test cases, maintain automated test scripts, and execute tests
  • Understand customer usage and define the appropriate environment for testing
  • Ensure effective test case automation development by considering quality factors
  • Promote automation technology concepts, influence improvements, report potential risks, and plan for contingencies
  • Cultivate continuous learning and refinement of testing and automation strategy
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand feature development during sprints, usage, and use cases
  • Innovate and encourage value addition in testing and automation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends in testing and automation
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A BE or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 5-8 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a proven track record of automating test cases using JAVA/Selenium
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, including design and execution of tests according to specs, bug reporting, and system-wide perspective
  • Organized and precise, with strong attention to detail
  • In-depth knowledge of testing and automation domains, database management, and LINUX operating systems
