Job Title

A Senior Technical Consultant is a highly experienced field professional who combines extensive knowledge across open-source and cloud technologies with a proven track record of delivery.

The successful candidate will lead engagements, exhibit commercial awareness, and possess mature communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project teams to deploy solutions across open-source and cloud technologies
  • Architect open-source and cloud related technology solutions involving challenges such as storage, messaging, streaming, analysis, scalability, development operations, and security
  • Provide thought leadership to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Lead customer requirements and design to achieve business goals
  • Communicate with customers, including senior management, on matters requiring explanation, interpretation, and advising
  • Lead development and testing activities
  • Lead in the architecture and design of complex solutions
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a customer-facing role, designing, securing, and deploying large-scale applications and solutions. They must also possess strong skills integrating third-party tools and solutions.

Key qualifications include:

  • Experience with major cloud vendor environments (development, access, migration)
  • Strong skills in DotNet core and React
  • Subject matter expert in at least one open-source and cloud technology
  • Architect level development skills in Dotnet and at least one messaging protocol
  • Strong project and situational awareness
  • Self-starter
Expectations

The successful candidate will be recognized as a subject matter expert in their professional discipline. They must provide measurable input into new products, processes, standards, and plans.

They will also be responsible for:

  • Authoring and coordinating technical documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Coordinating cross-practice deliverables to defined standards
  • Understanding open-source and cloud use-cases and recommending standard design patterns
  • Establishing strong, long-term professional relationships with team members across Sales, Pre-Sales, and Post-Sales
