Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology Vision and Strategy:

- Develop and communicate a sophisticated engineering vision aligned with Wobot AI's mission to stay at the forefront of AI and machine learning.

- Anticipate technological shifts and strategically invest in infrastructure and architecture to maintain Wobot AI's competitive edge.

- Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure engineering initiatives align with long-term business growth and innovation imperatives.

2. Leadership and Team Development:

- Foster an environment where high-performing engineers thrive, promoting collaboration, creativity, and diversity of thought.

- Define clear development paths, foster continuous learning, and implement advanced mentoring programs to empower team members to grow into experts in their domains.

- Lead by example, conducting in-depth performance reviews and offering strategic feedback to unlock each team member's potential.

3. Technical Leadership and Innovation:

- Ensure adherence to advanced principles of software engineering, architecture, and secure, scalable development practices.

- Champion a culture of experimentation and intellectual curiosity, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in product design and feature deployment.

- Leverage emerging AI technologies to amplify Wobot AI's competitive edge and technical prowess.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Business Impact:

- Work closely with product, growth, and partnership teams to co-create AI solutions that deliver unmatched customer value and innovation.

- Prioritize engineering initiatives that directly enhance business growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

- Cultivate partnerships with technology vendors and industry thought leaders to stay abreast of advancements and integrate valuable external expertise.

5. Information Security and Compliance:

- Architect and enforce sophisticated security and data protection protocols that comply with the highest standards of industry and regulatory requirements.

- Partner with legal and security teams to proactively address cybersecurity risks and implement preemptive measures across all engineering initiatives.

Ideal Profile:

- Engineering Leadership: 6+ years in engineering leadership, preferably in high-growth B2B product or fintech environments.

- Visionary Thinker: Proven expertise in aligning technology strategy with dynamic business objectives.

- Deep Technical Mastery: Advanced knowledge of scalable, distributed systems, secure architecture, and a solid grasp of JavaScript technologies (particularly MERN stack).

- Innovator at Heart: A proven track record of implementing pioneering technologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and inspiring cross-functional teams.

- Security-First Mindset: Deep understanding of data privacy and information security practices, ensuring Wobot AI's technological assets are resilient and compliant.
