Job Description

As a skilled Data Engineer, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines. Your expertise in Python and proficiency in key libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn will be essential in handling and transforming complex datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient data collection and transformation scripts using Python.
  • Develop scalable web scraping solutions to extract structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
  • Perform thorough data cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data-driven solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience is required. A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role is also necessary.

Strong proficiency in Python and key data libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) is expected. Hands-on experience with web scraping tools and libraries (Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium) is highly valued.

A solid understanding of databases with strong SQL skills is essential. Exposure to databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB is a plus.
