Main Responsibilities
  • Create Talend jobs for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery using components like tMap, tJoin, tFilterRow, and tFileInputDelimited.
  • Manage schemas, reusable metadata, and dynamic schema propagation in Talend Studio.
  • Integrate Talend with TDM platforms for batch processing, EDI file generation, and real-time data provisioning.
Talend-Specific Expertise
  • Data Profiling, Sub-setting, Masking, and Generation: Automate these processes using Talend, especially in regulated domains like healthcare and finance.
  • Self-Service TDM Portals: Provision data on-demand using Talend workflows on platforms like Cognizant's CTDM.
  • Data Virtualization and Mining: Create virtualized datasets and mine production-like data for test environments using Talend.
Advanced Use Cases
  • Healthcare EDI File Creation: Automate HIPAA-compliant EDI 837 file generation for claims testing using Talend.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize Talend jobs for high-throughput test data creation and validation, often integrated with performance testing workflows.
  • Ai-Augmented TDM: Leverage GenAI for intelligent data generation and masking, with Talend acting as the orchestration layer.
