We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our project team.

This individual will work on implementing an application for a large retailer. The successful candidate will have hands-on coding expertise in Python and PySpark, as well as experience with Big Data, GCP and telemetry systems.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in Python, PySpark and SQL.
  • Familiarity with equipment and systems from Emerson, Honeywell or similar companies.
  • The ability to explain how data flows through IoT units and how sensors are designed and monitored.

Nice to have skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong understanding of IoT systems, especially in Refrigeration units, HVAC systems, Controllers and sensors.
  • Domain experience in IoT systems, HVAC/refrigeration equipment and other mechanical solutions is highly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for working directly with business partners to implement feedback and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
