Job Title: Data Storage Specialist

This role is designed for professionals with a passion for data storage and management. As a Data Storage Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and availability of our organization's digital assets.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide L2/L3 level support for data storage systems in a mission-critical environment.
  • Perform daily health checks, monitoring, and routine tasks using established protocols.
  • Acknowledge and triage alerts; log and update incidents in our centralized ticketing system.
  • Execute backups/restores and routine jobs under change control and supervision.
  • Evaluate issues to determine root cause with accurate diagnostics, logs, and metrics.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in data administration (L2) or 8+ years (L3).
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Dell EMC, Cisco, and other data storage technologies preferred.
  • Hold certifications such as Dell/EMC, NetApp, HPE Storage (Associate/Professional), Brocade/Cisco SAN, or AWS S3/Object Storage fundamentals.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have an ownership mindset with readiness for 24x7 support and on-call rotation.
