Unlock Your Expertise as a Senior Accounting Leader

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional accounting skills and experience in financial reporting, technical accounting compliance, and driving consistency across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Own the development of timely, accurate, and compliant statutory and management reporting under Indian GAAP and IND-AS.
  2. Lead quarterly and annual financial statement preparation, collaborating closely with internal and external auditors.
  3. Act as a subject matter expert for the organization's accounting practices; assess and implement new accounting standards to ensure best practices.
  4. Drive alignment with IPO requirements, including audit readiness, restatements, consolidated entity reporting, and regulatory submissions.
  5. Partner with finance teams to ensure consistent application of accounting principles across the organization.
  6. Develop and implement internal control procedures, close calendars, and reporting templates to drive group-wide implementation.
  7. Engage with external advisors to ensure accounting treatment aligns with industry benchmarks and best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8–12 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  2. Strong understanding of IND-AS, consolidation, and complex accounting areas (e.g., revenue recognition, ESOP accounting).
  3. Prior experience in a pre-IPO or listed company is highly valued.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
  5. Proven stakeholder management skills with senior leaders and auditors.

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with IPO filing processes or working with Big 4 auditors.
  2. Ability to lead small teams while working collaboratively with colleagues.
