About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Engineering team at BNY. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cloud-ready services, building tools to improve end-to-end application, and collaborating with stakeholders and testing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cloud-ready services using Node, GraphQL, and Hazelcast.
  • Build tools to improve end-to-end application performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and testing teams to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Provide superior software development services in a fast-paced and innovative working environment.
  • Analyze information and provide recommendations to address and resolve business and technical issues.
  • Work with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements.
  • Coordinate coding, unit testing, implementation, and documentation of solutions.
  • Ensure expected application performance levels are achieved.
  • Comply with BNY's standard development methodology.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 9 to 15 years of experience in software development, with proficiency in Java 8 or higher and Front-End UI Technologies.
  • Experience of working in UI tool sets and programming languages, including Core JavaScript, Angular 11 or higher, JavaScript frameworks, CSS, and HTML.
  • Experience in Spring Framework, Hibernate, and proficiency with Spring Boot.
  • Extensive hands-on knowledge of XML, XSD, XSLT, and JSON.
  • Strong knowledge of DSA, design patterns, and system architecture.
  • Solid coding and troubleshooting experience on Web Services and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong SQL skills to work on relational and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
  • Strong experience in SDLC, DevOps processes, including CI/CD tools and Git.
  • Experience with messaging frameworks, such as ActiveMQ or IBM MQ or Kafka.
  • Good understanding of monitoring tools, including AppDynamics, Splunk, and Moogsoft.
  • Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn and pick up new skills and to perform with minimal management supervision.
  • Strong communication skills.
