Job Overview

As a dedicated team player, you will be responsible for supporting the business unit in finance and planning. This role includes budgeting and forecasting, monitoring, and reporting for specific product categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support period end results and prepare forecasts.
  • Create, update, and prepare periodic business reports.
  • Work across multiple finance functions to deliver period forecasts.
  • Understand key drivers of the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement.
  • Work on region/customer initiatives to drive business performance.
  • Perform performance analysis, including explanations of variance to plan, forecast, and year ago.
  • Support the annual operating plan process.
  • Develop Channel/Customer promotional analysis to support business partners.
  • Maintain complex Excel models.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations to communicate business results and insights.
  • Manage exceptions through verbal and written interactions with Sales and Sales Finance teams.
Requirements
  • 3-6 years of experience in finance and planning for postgraduates (commerce, accounting, finance).
  • 0-3 years of finance experience for CA/CMA preferred.
  • Experience in financial analysis, data integrity maintenance, and systems such as SAP, Business Objects, Essbase, forecasting, P&L understanding, trade promotions, reporting & analytics.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and organized in approach and document maintenance.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English language.
