Senior Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to lead our team in developing innovative solutions using PHP and Python.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of core PHP and object-oriented programming principles, as well as experience working with CodeIgniter (CI 1 & 4) and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming Expertise: Develop high-quality software applications using PHP and Python.
  • CodeIgniter (CI 1 & 4): Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient web applications using CodeIgniter.
  • Database Management: Manage and maintain large databases using MySQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Cross-Functional Expertise: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate JavaScript with backend services.
  • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Testing and Validation: Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability and regression prevention.
  • Version Control and Collaboration: Use Git for version control, branching, and collaborative development.
  • API Integration and Development: Develop RESTful APIs for consuming and creating endpoints.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance on both frontend and backend.
  • Technical Leadership and Mentoring: Lead team members in adopting best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.
  • Tech Staying Current and Documentation: Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advocate for best engineering practices.
