The Heating and Cooling Systems Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

\

This position involves installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing various HVAC components, including air conditioners, chillers, furnaces, air handlers, and ventilation units.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • Install and maintain HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failure.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems and recommend effective solutions to resolve system issues.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications to troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC systems.
  • Adjust system controls to optimize performance and ensure energy efficiency.
  • Test and balance air and hydronic systems to meet performance standards and improve overall system efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records, documenting all work performed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Respond promptly to emergency service calls and provide timely resolution to system issues.
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to resolve system issues and improve overall system performance.
\Requirements:\
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and refrigeration cycles.
  • Ability to use HVAC tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and occupational health regulations.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and withstand varying weather conditions.
  • Diploma/ITI/Technical certification in HVAC, Mechanical, or related field.
