Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to lead the backend delivery of a live, regulated financial platform being built across the Middle East.

This is a full-time contract role focused on core features, transactions, and secure APIs all powering a product built for real customers and regulatory scrutiny.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in financial services.
  • Strong TypeScript/Node.js skills, productive from day one.
  • Hands-on with AWS Lambda and serverless patterns.
  • PostgreSQL experience, schema design, performance tuning, real-world queries.
  • Solid understanding of building secure, documented REST APIs.
  • Able to work independently and communicate clearly.
