We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Business Intelligence Specialist. This position involves overseeing data management, developing reports, and resolving data-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Management: Create, update, and delete master data, ensuring its accuracy and integrity.
  • User Administration: Manage users and user roles, granting access to authorized personnel.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify the quality of imported data to ensure it meets established standards.
  • Data Lifecycle Management: Commission and decommission data sets as needed.
  • Confidential Data Handling: Process confidential data in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop reports and analyses to provide actionable insights.
  • Reporting Environment Design: Design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Support for Data Warehouse: Assist the data warehouse team in identifying reporting requirements.
  • Data Integrity Initiatives: Implement initiatives to improve data integrity and normalization.
  • Software Assessment: Assess new software and implement it as necessary.
  • Multi-System Reporting: Generate reports from single or multiple systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot the reporting database environment to resolve technical issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Relevant work experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Analytical skills with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Ability to analyze tools and databases.
  • Effective communication skills to translate business requirements into actionable plans.
  • High-level understanding of methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets.
  • Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
