Art Director Role

The successful Art Director will be responsible for defining the overall visual style, tone, and artistic vision for 3D projects. They will lead a team of 3D artists and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality art is produced.

This position requires collaboration with game designers and developers to align the art with project goals and technical limitations.

  • 8+ years of experience in 3D art production, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or senior artist role.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush) and solid understanding of real-time rendering engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.

The Art Director will be responsible for creating initial concepts, visual guides, and storyboards to communicate artistic direction.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in fine arts, graphic design, animation, or related field.
  • Experience with texturing and sculpting tools (e.g., Substance Painter, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Solid knowledge of technical art fundamentals, such as modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and optimization.
