Job Opportunity

The Security Operations Centre (SOC) is a critical component of an organization's digital asset protection strategy. As a SOC Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of our systems and data.

Main Responsibilities

  • Incident Response: You will be responsible for identifying and remediating security incidents in a timely and effective manner. This includes assessing the scope of the attack, affected systems, and collecting data for further analysis.
  • Vulnerability Management: You will work proactively to seek out weaknesses and stealthy attackers, review vulnerability assessments (CVEs) on monitored assets, and focus on deep dives into datasets to understand what's happening during and after attacks.
  • Monitoring and Escalation: You will monitor security events from various SOC entry channels (SIEM, Tickets, Email, and Phone), based on the security event severity and suspicious activities, escalate to managed service support teams, tier 3 information security specialists, and/or customers as appropriate to perform further investigation and resolution.
  • Team Leadership: You will work as a team lead for the SOC analysts, helping them ensure that corporate data and technology platform components are safeguarded from known threats.
  • Root Cause Analysis: You will analyze events and incidents and identify the root cause.
  • Platform Maintenance: You will assist in keeping the SIEM platform up-to-date and contribute to security strategies as new threats emerge.
  • Security Knowledge: You will stay up-to-date with emerging security threats, including applicable regulatory security requirements.
  • Process Improvement: You will bring enhancements to SOC security processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Documentation: You will document and maintain customer build documents, security procedures, and processes.
  • Reporting: You will document incidents to contribute to incident response and disaster recovery plans.
  • Review and Verification: You will review critical incident reports and scheduled weekly and monthly reports to ensure they are technically and grammatically accurate.
  • Knowledge Updation: You will keep updated with new threats, vulnerabilities, create/contribute to use cases, threat hunting, etc.
