Telecom Infrastructure Specialist Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing various tasks related to telecommunications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and maintenance of telecom infrastructure in datacenters and outdoor environments
  • Knowledge of power cable termination and low-current work for CCTV, AP, etc.
  • Installation of rack, PDU, servers, switch, routers, chassis, etc.
  • Identification and replacement of faulty components such as SFPs, patch cords, or transceivers
  • Utilization of testing tools for fibers, including power meters and OTDRs
  • Basic knowledge of PCs for remote access and device configuration
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of telecom technologies, particularly copper/fibers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
  • Basic knowledge of PC operations and network devices
