Job Summary:

As a Senior Analog Design Engineer, you will be responsible for characterizing Analog Mixed Signal macros, extracting analog-digital interface timing models, and correlating timing model data to Hspice simulations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize design performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analog Mixed Signal Macro Characterization: Utilize industry-leading tools to characterize Analog Mixed Signal macros ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Timing Model Extraction: Extract analog-digital interface timing models from existing designs by leveraging expertise in NanoTime.
  • Simulation and Verification: Correlate timing model data with Hspice simulations to verify accuracy and inform design decisions.
  • Maintenance and Improvement: Implement quality assurance checks for consistency and correctness, and drive methodology and flow improvements using automation.
  • Documentation and Communication: Organized and methodical with effective communication skills.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in library characterization for Analog Mixed Signal macros.
  • Must have experience with NanoTime.
  • Solid understanding of timing fundamentals.
  • Experience in Hspice/Spectre simulators is desirable.
  • Automation using shell/perl/tcl or python is a must.
