Job Opportunity:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our collections analytics efforts, driving operational and product strategy for loan repayment in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will leverage internal and external data to build effective collection strategies, ensuring high rates of collection.
  • They will also be responsible for managing a team within the collections department, ensuring sufficient staffing levels to handle workload demands.
  • This role requires strong analytical skills to monitor repayment metrics, such as collections and recoveries performance, delinquency rates, and auto-pay adoption.
  • Collaboration with Product and Risk teams is crucial to drive operational strategies across the collections and recoveries space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing industry and internal trends, this professional will proactively assess and recommend short-term and long-term repayment and collections strategies.
  • Identifying innovative ways to evolve the repayment experience through partnerships with third parties, data solutions, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintaining strong analytical skills to drive business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A quantitative background in engineering, statistics, math, economics, or related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of experience in analyzing data, utilizing database query language (e.g. SQL), analysis, and programming tools like Python, R, Databricks Analytics.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, comfortable working in fast-paced environments with ambiguity.
